    1. Hey, thanks!
Where are you studying at the moment? It's a really practical course which suits me really well, its something like for every 2 hour lecture we have a 3 hour practical of dissection, group or lab work.

    2. University College Dublin. I find much easier to learn from hands on stuff rather than from books, so I'm trying to suss out how much labs etc there are.Your doing the 4 yr graduate course right?

  2. It's really practical from day one taking blood, bone marrow, dissections etc. We're split into two groups of 10 for practicals so lost of contact time and we have weekly Anatomy credits which means we actually learn it as we go rather than leaving it til the Final.
Yeah I'm on the 4 year course, there are more on our course than the 6 year GVM this year.

    1. ok cause I was a bit worried that there wouldnt be that many graduates and I would be one of the older ones. Are there many British/Irish over there? Is the social life good? or are you too busy studying? ;)

    2. Yeah there are lots of graduates and have a couple on our course aged 36 and 37. Probably half British and Irish with the rest from all over the world. We go out for food and a few drinks all the time and out properly most weeks. Definitely worth coming to visit!

    1. Hey! Ahh sweet, I graduated '13 so probably? There's 5 Aber animal science grads in my class and 3 in older years! I really like it, is really practical which suits me. Nope, just application form and CV for post-BSc 4 year course.
